The name of the challenge: dolls without faces
The challenge: Take a photo that is still interesting, without showing the doll's face. You can blur it out in photoshop, cover it with a veil, take photos from angles that hide the face, crop or frame the photo so the face isn't included. Just do whatever creative thing you want to hide the face.
The rule: The only real rule is that there can't be a face visible.
Why: I see a lot of photoshoots that focus exclusively on featuring the dolls head mold or face up, but I almost never see photoshoots that focus on other parts of the dolls or the beauty of the doll as a whole unit. The purpose of this challenge is to extend people's photographic boundaries, by challenging them to take more than the usual close-up/head-shot/face-up photo.
... the purpose is merely to get people to think about photographing their dolls in ways they don't usually consider.
