The Arrival of Lady Himeko (Only-Doll Fenying) Thu Sep 06, 2012 12:22 pm

How Himeko came to me was a rather funny story actually. I was browsing through the MP vaguely checking out the lovely dolls listed out for sale, and was intrigued by the name "FenYing". So I clicked on it and I was immediately in love with her lovely chubby cheeks! Checked the price, and went "OMGOSH I CAN AFFORD IT!!!" but still wondered whether to bring her home.
I started spazzing about this doll with my friend JLostein and who knew, she too had her eye on this girl! XD; but after several discussions, we both agreed that I will be the one adopting this precious girl now
Her transaction from US to Malaysia was really smooth, and I was eagerly awaiting her arrival home (stalking tracking order is so...painful sometimes ._. ) The whole journey took about, say 2 weeks? XD
Since I had used my office address, I literally squealed and jumped to the door when I saw the delivery guy making his way to my office WITH A BIG BOX. My colleagues, whom are used to seeing me buying things online, knew that box would most probably be mine :doh
Anyway! Box opening was in office cause my colleagues were eager to see her too, but I decided to have a mini photostory at home when my other kids meet Lady Himeko, so the girl's already been dressed in this story! ^^;
Pardon the mess, I'm still in the process of clearing up my hall >_<;

Sebastian: Stand back girls, I'm going to try to open this box up!
Luna: I wonder what's inside *nervous*
Alex: I have a feeling we're about to have another friend...*holds Luna's scared hand*
Luna: *peeks* oooh lacy pillows! :O
???: *mmph* can someone let me out of here, please?
Luna: omnyaaa there's someone down here! O_O
Alex: C'mon, let's get this lacy stuff off whoever-that-is!
Himeko: What took you so long?!
Alex: .....brat
Luna: Q.Q are you okay?
Himeko: Who are you calling a brat, commoner?!
Alex: Err, you? =_=;
Himeko: How rude. You dare insult me, the beloved Lady Himeko?
Alex: ...well I'm just going to call you Himeko *rolls eyes*
Here's Alex and Himeko together. My word, this girl is so PINK!
Seems Luna's getting along with Himeko pretty well. Then again, they're both fans of the color pink hahaha
Everyone clamors around Himeko to greet her. Though I just realized Qwerty isn't around in this photo! I guess that little imp was a little too busy setting up new pranks for the newcomer
I've also posted the box arrival on my blog (which is pretty...empty lol) if you'd like to see bigger photos ^^
